Ida Kociak (December 23, 1990) is a Designer, Art Director and Visual Storyteller based in Berlin. She moves across visual worlds, from editorial design and grid systems to art direction and photography. Whether working across fashion, culture, music, lifestyle or personal projects, she is driven by a visceral love of how images shape perception and emotion, and by a continuous search for beauty, meaning and connection in the world around her.
Born in Buenos Aires, she lived in Stockholm and currently in Berlin (2018), her perspective has been shaped by different cultures and environments.
Over the past decade she has contributed in both agencies and design and communication studios to global campaigns, independent brands, cultural projects and emerging creatives, being closely involved throughout the creative process, from early concepts and visual research to final execution. After nearly five years in agency environments, photography gradually became an inevitable extension of her practice. Years spent shaping visual languages, gaining on-set directing experience and refining visual expression grew into a deeper fascination. What began as a sensitivity toward images unlocked the door to an expanding photographic practice.
She holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Graphic Design and Fashion & Textile Design.
